Most retired pro athletes will tell you the thing they miss most from their playing days is the laughter and the camaraderie with their teammates in the locker room or on the playing field.  It’s about going to battle with an ensemble who is going through the journey together.

Andi Jarvis, a 2015 catcher and corner infielder on the OC Batbusters-Briggs 18U team, profiled the literal journey her team took in January as the SoCal team traveled to Orlando, Fla. for the Sun Classic Winter Showcase.  In this video blog, you’ll see the team on the airplane flight and, once settled in, getting to go to the fields in the dark at 6 am and “warming up” in the frosty 38 degree Florida chill!

The trip was worth it, though, as the Batbusters went 6-1 and Andi even cracked a home run in front of her future coaches at the Univ. of Maryland.
