Update: Phil Mumma has died

Legendary Sorcerer Gold Head Coach Phil Mumma has passed away Monday night after a year-long battle with esophageal cancer. As we reported yesterday, Mumma was resting at home.
Mumma was one of the top club softball coaches over the last decade, having won an ASA Gold National Championship and producing over 200 players that went on to the college level including national team players such as Keilani Ricketts and Valerie Arioto.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, the Sorcerer players and organization and all those who he touched.
Below are some tweets noting this impact…
RIP coach Phil Mumma. You taught me so much. So many good memories playing softball for the Sorcerers. Truly he end of an era.
