One of the top players we saw at the 16U level during the PGF 16U National Championship that ran from July 20-26 was Justus Perry, an infielder for the Minnesota Sting out of Lakeville, Minn.
Perry, who committed to Arizona State in November 2012, is an impressive athlete who can hit and play defense and has a cool history behind her name: both her parents are in law enforcement and didn’t want to be too cliched going with “Justice” and, as they’re not originally from Minnesota and don’t have family there, they thought “just us” would be have significance and thus became “Justus!”
Also, as you’ll see in this video, the young athlete has a most unusual verbal talent that had us putting her to the test!
