The Kissimmee Klassic, perhaps the top high school softball preseason tournament in the country, begins in two weeks—Thursday, March 31 through Saturday, April 2—and will feature 32 elite teams including the majority of the best teams in Florida.
The 24th annual tournament, which has featured many future softball greats going back to Claire Sua (Ft. Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas) in the ‘90’s up to Jaclyn Traina (Naples) in this decade, will have the top games streamed by FloSoftball.com.
“We’ve always been a fan of the Kissimmee Klassic,” Brentt Eads, the General Manager of FloSoftball said today. “You have great teams and plays on one complex and when the best battle the best it not only helps the teams, players and coaches get primed for their high school season, it gives us as fans and the media a head start on who top teams will be nationally from the Sunshine State.”
The Klassic is broken up into two 16-team divisions, Blue and Gold, and all the games will take place on the five fields at the Osceola County Softball Complex, which is in a clover-leaf pattern meaning all the fields are right next to each other to allow easy access to all games and fields.
FloSoftball will have much more in terms of previewing and covering the Kissimmee Klassic in the next few weeks... today, we list the teams in each division along with last year’s records and rankings:
BLUE DIVISION (teams seeded 1-16)
GOLD DIVISION (teams seeded 1-16)
