TBT with The Romero Sisters
Remember when Sierra Romero wasn't the face of college softball and she was just a young phemon winning Big Ten Player of the Year with the Michigan Wolverines? How about when her sister, Sydney Romero, wasn't on her way to becoming a legendary Oklahoma Sooner, but was instead a stand out on the OC Batbusters 18U National Championship team?

Hard to imagine, right? Well we're taking you back almost two years ago to when we caught up with the sisters at Mike Stith's training facility in Anaheim, California.

Enjoy the stroll down memory lane, then watch the sisters present-day in our newest original documentary "Bragging Rights: The Romeros."

See Sierra and Sydney like you've never seen them before in our original documentary Bragging Rights: The Romeros, premiering April 20 only on FloSoftball.

Bragging Rights: The Romeros Ep. 1

Two of the best softball players in the country just happen to share the last name “Romero”… that’s because they’re sisters!

I caught up with Sierra and Sydney Romero last week as they worked out with Mike Stith at his Sports Training Complex in Anaheim, Calif.

For those who may not be familiar with the superstar sisters, Sierra was a 1st Team All-American at the Univ. of Michigan in 2014 as a sophomore and captured her second straight Big Ten Player of the Year award after setting Wolverine single-season records in batting average (.491), runs scored (74) and grand slams (4).

Sydney helped lead the OC Batbusters to this past summer’s PGF 18U Premier National Championship, hitting .478 at Nationals with a team-leading eight RBI. She was also a Full Count Softball All-American after hitting .612 with 11 home runs as a junior.

In this video interview, you’ll see the sisters comfortably interacting and laughing with each other as they talk about growing up and playing softball together, who’s stronger mentally (bit of a disagreement there!) and what they think the other does better on the field!
