I woke up at 3:45 Friday morning with a huge smile on my face. The finally came for my official visit to Auburn. I couldn't sleep the night before I was so ecstatic.

Friday morning my flight left out of John Wayne Airport at 6:45 AM. The three hours and thirty minutes went by and we finally landed in Atlanta, Georgia. We drove a hour and a half to get to Auburn.

The first thing we did when we got to campus was go to Jane B. Moore field to watch the rest of the practice. Seeing the tempo on the field and how much fun the girls seemed to be having made me so excited to eventually be on the field with them.

When practice ended, dinner was catered to the field. We got to enjoyed dinner with the coaches and our hosts. I was lucky enough to have my wonderful sister as my host!

We then had a brief presentation from compliance, academics, strength and conditioning, and athletics training.

Day two had rolled around and it was time for some Auburn Football. But first we had a few things to get done. They had breakfast for the recruits and the families set up at a restaurant called Hamiltons.

We went back to the field to try on uniforms and get sized for our gear.

We ate lunch at the wonderful Wellness kitchen. Then it was time to experience my first Tiger Walk. The Tiger Walk is basically two lines separated by fences, and the players and coaches walk through giving high fives. It was a very cool experience.

Once the Tiger Walk was done we made our way to the football stadium and got to go down on the field. It was amazing, the atmosphere in the town on game day was incredible.

The Tigers ended up winning 58-7 over the Warhawks. The rest of the time was spent with a few of the girls on the team and the recruits.

Overall it was one incredible trip down in Auburn and it's crazy to think I will be a freshman at Auburn University in a short ten months!

War Eagle!
