Sunday, October 16
9:00 AM PT: 16U Championship - Sorcerer vs. Bandits JT
11:00 AM PT: 18U Championship - Athletics-TO vs. Bandits Conroy
1:00 PM PT: 14U Championship So Cal Choppers vs. Angels-Tyson

If you like great softball, you won't want to miss this event and the trio of games, which begin at 9 AM, 11 AM, and 1 PM PST (which division plays at what time will be finalized later depending on flight schedules of participating teams.)

Here are five reasons why you'll want to check in Sunday and watch the "best of the best" in club ball as they compete in the championship games:

1. TOP TEAMS IN THE NATION

FloSoftball has wrapped up its look at the FAB 50 18U club teams in the country and seven out of the top 10 and 11 of the top 18 will be playing this weekend, including the OC Batbusters, All American Sports Academy, Beverly Bandits, the Cal Cruisers, So Cal A's, Corona Angels, Texas Blaze, So Cal Choppers, Explosion-Denio/Wilson, and many, many more.

The 16U and 14U divisions are loaded as well.

The PGF national champs from those age groups--the Beverly Bandits 16U squad and the Athletics-Mercado 14U teams--will be competing as will the PGF Ultimate Challenge winners in each category from the early October event: AASA (18U), Explosion-Greg (16U), and OC Batbusters-Campbell (14).

Whoever makes it to the title games in 18U, 16U and 14U will have run the gauntlet and emerge as top teams not just this weekend, but also as favorites next summer.

If you're a club team player or coach, you'll want to see the best and compare your team to these championship game combatants!

2. TOP TALENT

Same as with the team level: If you want to see what an elite player at the club level looks like, you'll want to watch the championship games. These will feature awesome players at the top of their game.

Obviously, we don't know yet who will be in the title games, but you can bet the six teams who make it will be loaded with Hot 100 players in the 2017, 2018, 2019 and even 2020 classes. We'll be sure to highlight the players, their future colleges and their accomplishments--be it All-American status or Hot 100 recognition--during the games.

Want to see how you or your players compare against the best? Watch the best in action…

3. FUTURE COLLEGE (AND BEYOND) STARS

If you're reading this article, you probably like college softball, right? And likely follow at least one team and/or have your favorite players.

Let's just imagine you're a UCLA fan.  If any of these club teams--the OC Batbusters, Corona Angels, All American Sports Academy, Jersey Intensity, or Ohana Tigers--makes it to the 18U title game, then you'll be watching future Bruins in action.

Same with the powerhouse Athletics-Mercado 14U team which has two outstanding UCLA commits who helped Dave Mercado's team win the PGF National Championship.

Name your favorite college--from Auburn to Washington--and you'll have a decent chance to see at least one of them play on Sunday.

Let's just take one team: Mike Stith's OC Batbusters 18U squad. The roster has players going to the following universities: Arizona (3), Arizona State, Auburn (2), Florida, Maryland, Nevada, Oklahoma (2), UCLA (3), and Washington.

Pretty impressive, right?

With six teams playing in two days, you're going to see major college talent this weekend… that's all but guaranteed. It'll be a fun glimpse into the future of who will be the next superstars at the collegiate level and you'll be seeing them first!

4. GAMES WILL BE ARCHIVED

Here's something cool you may or may not know: You can watch the championship games live on Sunday and then rewatch them next week when FloSoftball uploads and archives them on FloSoftball.com.

On Tuesday, Flo was in Ann Arbor, Michigan, to live stream the Michigan vs. Michigan State fall game (that was our Editor Chez Sievers doing color, by the way!). That Big Ten game is archived and viewable Friday, so you can watch it again or for the first time if you missed all the action three days ago--and there was a LOT of action!

Same for the PGF Shootout title games…watch live on Sunday and then later next week. It will be cool also to come back and watch these teams and players weeks or even months from now to see how they progressed towards national championship runs next summer.

5. BECAUSE IT'S SOFTBALL…

Sure you can watch the NFL on Sunday or do something else, but, c'mon: softball rules!

Great teams and players, championship drama, high quality production with multiple cameras and announcers (including FloSoftball's own Brentt Eads doing color commentary)...what better way to spend a Sunday if you're a softball fan?

So go to church early, enjoy your breakfast, get those chores out of the way, and then camp out in front of your laptop or--if you have Apple TV 4 or Roku, you can load it up on your big screen!--and watch three great softball title games produced by PGF which knows something about producing big-time championships.

The PGF Shootout on FloSoftball.com. This is THE place to be on Sunday, you won't want to miss it (and if you do, go reread No. 4)!
