FloSoftball continues our look at the Class of 2019 as we update the Hot 100 for the current sophomore class. We're spotlighting 10 each day on the countdown from 100 to No. 1.

The Top 10 prospects of the class will be announced on Friday, February 3 and shortly after we will profile the No. 1 player, the "Next In (101-200)," recruits "On The Bubble (201-300)" and finally the "Top College Rankings" for the '19 class.

Since we first released the 2019 Hot 100 a year ago at this time, there has been a lot of changes as players have emerged as nationally prominent recruits. In fact, 39 of the players in this second version are new!

These sophomore standouts were chosen based on input and feedback from college and club coaches who've seen them play across the nation. Criteria for choosing and ranking the players including performances at the club and high school levels and projecting how they will play at the collegiate level.

Today we feature players No. 60 to 51 who come from Alabama (2), Arkansas, California (3), Georgia, Indiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee (2) and Washington.

null

60--Carlee McCondichie MIF/OF… Birmingham Thunderbolts (Auburn)
nullMcCondichie is a true utility player who mostly lines up at shortstop and can soft slap or hit with power. Her all-around skills allow teams to bat her in the lead-off spot for her speed or in the 4 or 5-holes because of her power. McCondichie was selected as one of only two freshmen in 2016 as a 6A 1st team All-State player as she led Gardendale High in Brookside, Alabama with a .512 batting average and had a region-best 105 hits. She participated in the Colorado Sparkler All-Star game last summer where she was chosen as an All-American and followed up her strong spring and summer with a .439 batting average in the fall for the Bolts. She committed to the Tigers in September of 2016.

T-59--Karsen Ochs P/1B… Firecrackers Gold-McDonald/Gamer (South Carolina)
nullThe word coaches use to describe Ochs both as a pitcher and hitter is "passionate." She's a power pitcher who throws in the mid 60s and hits her spots well. Karsen has a vast array of complementary pitches including a curve, screw, rise, off-speed curve and screw and a change-up. She also has a excellent bat speed and power. She earned 1st Team All-Region honors as a freshman for First Presbyterian Day School (Macon, Georgia) and this fall led her team to a Class A Private School championship. Karsen went 19-2 in the circle and batted .457 with seven home runs with a school record 63 hits. She committed to USC in September of 2015, just days short of her 14th birthday.

T-59--Macy McAdoo P… Tulsa Elite (Oklahoma)
nullMcAdoo burst onto the recruiting scene in 2016 with her mid-60s velocity and wicked movement on her pitches. She previously pitched for Oklahoma Ultimate and also worked out with pitching coach Rick Cummings. By the end of the summer, Macy had offers from almost every program who got to watch her on the field and in the fall as a sophomore led her Tuttle High (Oklahoma) team to the 4A State Championship. In the title series, Macy only allowed two runs in the last three games. In November, she made her decision to stay close to home (Tuttle is about a half hour away from the OU campus) and become a Sooner.

58--Jenna Bloom P… Explosion-Greg (Arkansas)
nullBloom is a poised and competitive pitcher with a 64-65 mph fastball and a nasty knuckleball that's one of the best in her class. The Huntington Beach, California sophomore also has a change-up to make her hard stuff that much more effective. She leads one of the top 16U club teams in the nation and elevates her game in key situations. Jenna led the Explosion to a 5th place finish at Boulder IDT last summer and went 3-0 at PGF Nationals to put herself on the map. She kept the momentum rolling this fall as she dominated at the PGF Ultimate Challenge leading Greg Borzilleri's team to the early season championship. Jenna pulled the trigger and committed to the Razorbacks in late August of 2016.

T-57--Regan Weekly 2B/OF… Tennessee Fury-Perry/Weekly (Dartmouth)
nullWeekly has grown up around softball as her grandfather Ralph Weekly is the University of Tennessee head coach and her father Marc coaches her Fury team after assisting with the Birmingham Bolts last year. Weekly was one of the top hitters for the Bolts last year as the team finished 5th at PGF Nationals. The Tennessee sophomore can hit for power and hard slap but has power in the stick as well. She's strong defensively and has good speed to round out her game. Weekly was an All-State honoree as an 8th and 9th grader and led her King's Academy (Seymour, Tennessee) high school team to a state title in 2016. She was recruited by ACC, SEC and Big Ten interest before choosing a high academic path and committed to Dartmouth in August of 2016.

T-57--Desiree Lewis SS/3B… Lady Lightning (Mississippi State)
null"Dez" as she is called, has an outstanding glove and, thanks in part to her basketball and volleyball athletic skills, has impressive quick first-step reflexes to pick ground balls and throw out runners. She is a game-changer at the plate as a strong home run threat every time she comes to the plate. But despite being a deep-ball and gap power hitter, Lewis also has slapper-type speed and when on base can go on any pitch. She helped lead her Davie High (Mocksville, North Carolina) team to the 4A quarterfinals.

56--Kiki Milloy OF/P… Washington Majestics (Tennessee)
null"Kiki" as she's better known, comes from an amazing athletic family as her father Lawyer played in the NFL for 15 years after an All-American career at the Univ. of Washington, her mother Claudine ran track for the Huskies and her sister Amirah is currently on the Washington softball team. Kiki is a 6-foot stellar athlete as well who can play centerfield and pitch, throwing 63-64 mph with a strong change and drop ball. At the plate she uses her athleticism to turn on the ball and drive to all fields for a high average with power too, but her overriding strength is her excellent speed which allows her to take lone strides going home to third or glide to balls in the outfield to cover a lot of ground. Desiring to leave the Northwest, the Redmond, Washington sophomore committed to Tennessee in the fall of 2016.

T-55--Gabi Carra MIF… Beverly Bandits (Wisconsin)
nullCarra is the type of player who can change a game with her glove or beat you with her bat. In the infield she has a strong arm and what one coach calls "one of the smoothest gloves out there." At good athlete with quickness and speed (2.7 home-to-first), she has tested at 100.62 in the Allister Index making her one of the very top athletes ever tested of the 15,000-plus measured by the producers of OnDeck Softball. Carra hit .352 with a .405 on-base percentage as a freshman for her Lake Central High (St. John, Indiana) squad and in February of 2016 verbaled to the Badgers over schools in the ACC, Big Ten and SEC.

T-55--Joley Mitchell C/UT… Texas Glory-Akdins/Ratliff (Missouri)
nullMitchell is the total package in that she has home run power from the right and left sides, has the speed to slap and bunt and is excellent in the lead-off spot but easily transitions to the 3 or 4-holes without missing a beat. She led the Glory last year in home runs and her speed makes her a threat to get on base and steal at any time. Defensively Mitchell can play any position on the field, though she primarily plays third and catcher at the club level. A tireless worker always striving to get better, she is a standout in track (100m, 200m, shot and discus) and in softball led her Rosebud High (Arkansas) team to a Class 3A state title and earned All-State honors in 2016. She committed to Missouri in January of 2015.

54--Jenna Johnson OF… TN Fury Platinum (Alabama)
nullJohnson is the classic speedy centerfielder who bats leadoff. She hit .391 for the 16U Fury team this year with a .459 on-base percentage and .615 slugging percentage as a 14-year-old. Jenna also was 25-for-26 in steals. She is considered one of the best and most fearless centerfielders in the country because she gets great jumps on fly balls and her speed allows her to track down balls in the gap that are unreachable to all but the fastest outfielders like her. As a freshman at Page High (Franklin, Tennessee), Johnson batted .604 with a .954 slugging percentage and went 20-for-20 in steals to earn the WILLCO Award as the Williamson County's top softball player. Heavily recruited since the 8th grade, she committed to the Crimson Tide last summer.

53--Madi Jacobus OF/MIF… Firecrackers-Rico (Utah)
null"Madi" has been under the radar up until now. Expect that to change as she should have an explosive 2017 playing for the defending PGF 18U National Champs. Coaches have compared Jacobus to Olympic Gold medalist and former Univ. of Arizona great Lovie Jung in her versatility and skill set. The Utah commit is a lefty triple threat who can play multiple positions. She performs well under pressure and has an excellent mental approach on the field. As a freshman at Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, California), Jacobus batted .478 with an on-base percentage of .561 and a 1.416 OPS along with 24 steals in 23 games played. She committed to the Utes in June of 2016.

T-52--Brylie St. Clair OF… Birmingham Thunderbolts (Mississippi State)
nullSt. Clair is an excellent slapper who bats lead-off or second in the line-up for the Thunderbolts with her speed being her most dangerous asset. She typically plays right field and in 2016 was selected as an Alabama All-State honoree for the third straight year, a remarkable feat meaning she's been one of the top players in the state since the 7th grade. St. Clair batted .616 last spring with a .644 on-base percentage and a 1.418 OPS. St. Clair also had 23 steals for her Sand Rock High (Leesburg, Alabama) team. In the fall she batted .418 for the Thunderbolts. St. Clair committed to MSU over interest from ACC and SEC programs.

T-52--Carley Brown P… Firecrackers-Brashear (uncommitted)
nullBrown is a fast-emerging pitcher who was committed at one time to Arizona State under the previous coaching staff and now has multiple offers from SEC and Big Ten-level schools because of her drop and curve that make her almost impossible to get solid contact against. Brown has a great ability to mix speeds and locations and is cool and composed in big game situations. She had an ERA under 1.20 this fall for Sean Brashear's squad and also showcased her big bat as she led the team in home runs. She's also been playing with Tony Rico's Firecrackers team and at least one coach said, "Carley is really making tremendous improvements under his influence this fall."

51--Hannah Kumiyama 3B/P… Georgia Impact-Lewis (South Carolina)
nullKumiyama is following in the footsteps of her older sister, Alyssa, a 2017 Hot 100 catcher/infielder also headed to the Gamecocks. The family is moving this spring from California to South Carolina and Hannah will play for Patrick Lewis' loaded Impact team once the transition is complete. She's had great success in playing for elite teams like the Athletics-Mercado 14U squad that won PGF Nationals last year and between the two sisters they have won six national championships, a remarkable feat. Kumiyama lines up as a corner infielder and pitcher and is an excellent basketball player to go with her softball talents. She's a masher at the plate and combines power with a strong arm to make her a future SEC signee after she committed to South Carolina two years ago, in January of 2015.
