Slay queen, indeed.
A softball pitcher from Illinois realized a new talent in a video posted last week to her dad's Facebook page: that she absolutely owns in dodgeball.
Adyson Slayback, who plays for the Bloomington-Normal Angels, can be seen in the video just melting her teammates in a dodgeball game with her windmill throwing motion. Chucking dodge balls overhand is obviously pretty overrated. Fastpitch dodgeball should absolutely be a thing -- and Slayback has proven why.
It's must-see TV.
The video has quickly gone viral and has millions of views all over the web. Many sports sites -- and even Ellentube -- have picked it up.
"Everyone at school is like, 'Oh, I know a famous person,'" Slayback, 15, told WGLT in Illinois, "It's just been crazy."
Her dodgeball aspirations, however, have taken a hit since the video went live. Slayback now has a gigantic bull's eye on her.
"All the kids were gunning for me and all trying to get me out because of all this. I was like, come on," said Slayback, who said she can throw up to 60 mph and hopes to play softball in college.
