FloSports has announced that is has partnered with the European Softball Federation to stream LIVE the Women's Softball European Championship June 29 to July 1 in Bollate, Italy on FloSoftball.com.



The competition will take place in Bollate, Italy and FloSoftball.com will host the four most important games of each of the final three days taking place next Thursday through Saturday.

We've seen several elite world-class players play in the championship including Alabama's Demi Turner (Greece), UCLA Bruin Angelica Selden (Italy), Scrap Yard Dawg's Britt Vonk (Netherlands) and McNeese State's Erika Piancastelli (Italy) among others.

"We're really excited to be part of the Women's Softball European Championship that kicks off next week as FloSoftball will host the final three days of competition including the semis and championship game," said Brentt Eads, FloSoftball GM and Rights Acquisition Manager today.

"It will be exciting to see the level of play from countries like France, Great Britain, Russia, Spain, Germany, Greece, Israel and host country Italy culminating with the Championship of Europe on Saturday, July 1!"

With the 2020 Tokyo Olympics coming up quickly-- just three years from now--and softball finally back in the games, the European Championship will also be a potential preview of who among the nearly two dozen teams competing might be able to step up and compete with the traditional international favorites like Japan, Canada, China and the U.S.

"And, who knows?" added Eads, "maybe there are young, talented players in the U.S. who'll be watching next week with ancestral ties to these nations and might end up playing for one of them in the Olympics down the road!"

The championship series will include 23 countries battling for supremacy of Europe:
