Whoop! Jo Evans will lead the Texas A&M Aggie softball program until at least 2022. 

During her time with the Aggies, she has advanced to the NCAA postseason 18 times, including three trips to the Women's College World Series and six trips to the NCAA Super Regionals. Since 2015, she has been in the National Fastpitch Coaches' Association Hall of Fame and she additionally played a huge role in the development of a new Aggie Softball stadium, set to finish in 2018.

"Jo has done a fabulous job of leading our softball program for more than two decades and has been a great ambassador for Texas A&M," director of athletics Scott Woodward told 12thman.com. "She exemplifies our core values, has led our team to conference championships and to the Women's College World Series, and has a phenomenal track record of graduating student-athletes."

Last season, the Aggies went 47-13 (16-7 SEC record) and Evans gathered an all-time 836-397-2 record. She is the seventh all-time winningest D1 softball coach.
