Today, we begin our final look at the talent in the class of 2018 as we reveal the Hot 100 prospects over the next two weeks, spotlighting 10 outstanding players each day on the way through our countdown from No. 100 to No. 1.

This list is an updated version of our initial 2018 Hot 100 rankings and includes 20 new players!

We'll reveal the top 10 of the class on Tuesday, November 7, and on the same day will unveil the top 2018 recruiting classes. We'll subsequently spotlight the No. 1 player and then list the "next in" classes comprising recruits Nos. 101-200, 201-300, 301-400, and 401-500!

FloSoftball has ranked the Hot 100 beginning with the 2014 class and has done every grad year since including 2015, '16, '17, '18, '19, '20, and '21. We've also updated most of those years several times.

These 2018 honorees were chosen based on input and feedback from college and club coaches as well as our own FloSoftball event and in-person observations. Criteria for choosing and ranking the players includes performances at the club and high school levels and projecting how they will play at the collegiate level.

Today we feature players Nos. 100 to 91 who come from California (5), Illinois (2), Texas, Utah, and Virginia.

null

null100 | Madison Lindsey, P/1B | Texas Bombers (Baylor)
Lindsey makes her debut in the Hot 100 as a fierce lefty who throws in the low 60s with a devastating rise ball. In her junior season at Kingwood High School, Lindsey went 20-3 in the circle with a 0.57 ERA and 237 strikeouts. Not only is Lindsey a leader and competitor in the circle, but she can also do damage at the plate, posting a .329 batting average. Early in her travel ball career, Lindsey experienced success in championship play as she claimed a 12U ASA National Championship with the Texas Kaos. Lindsey will stay in her home state as she heads to Baylor.

null99 | Molly Millar, P | All American Sports Academy (Stanford)
Millar is a power pitcher who can change planes and mix speeds very well, making it difficult to square up her pitches. During her 2016 sophomore year, Millar led a tough Buchanan High School team to a CIF Central California state championship. With only four returners in 2017, they made it back to the semifinals. She boasts a record of 50-10 in her first three years. This past summer with All-American Sports Academy, Millar helped her team to successful finishes at both the prestigious Independence Day Tournament, where they were crowned co-champions, and a 13th-place finish at PGF Nationals. Millar will attend Stanford.

null98 | Jazmyn Rollin, IF | Firecrackers Utah (Missouri)
After batting .600 at West High School and winning a Platinum PGF Championship, Rollin solidified a spot in the Hot 100. Last season, she tallied 47 RBIs and 16 dingers for West High. Her offensive contributions lifted West High to a state championship. Rollin's gorgeous and powerful lefty swing made a lasting impression on those who watched Firecrackers Utah at PGF. Rollin committed to Mizzou her sophomore year.

null97 | Juvia Davis, UTL |  Iowa Premier Gold (Indiana)
Davis is a fierce competitor who plays the game with edge. With her natural instincts, quick release, and strong arm, she is an asset at several positions on the field, including third base and catcher. Generally hitting in the meat of the lineup with power, Davis also has good speed down the line clocking in around 2.8. Davis is a two-time all-state Class 4A selection and a 2017 U.S. Marine Corp Semper Fidelis All-American who plays her summers with one of the strongest travel teams in the Midwest, Iowa Gold Premier. She will sign with Indiana University.

null96 | Allee Bunker, SS | Firecrackers - Rico (Oregon)
Bunker is an excellent defender with line-drive-pop to all fields. She recorded the most RBIs (29) in her career at Huntington Beach High School while batting .394 and striking out only once all season. Bunker stole 20 bases in 28 games. Her speed, range, and pop make her a valuable asset to an already talented Firecrackers team. Bunker will continue her softball career at the University of Oregon.

null95 | Kate Cressey, SS | Lady Lightning (Stanford)
Cressey is the complete package as a middle infielder. On defense, she anticipates plays before they unfold. Not only can she defend, but she also has the ability to change the game with one swing. Power, speed, and average sum up what Cressey brings to the lineup. One notable club coach said, "With her instincts and power, Kate will make the next step in her game a great one." Cressey will attend Stanford University.

null94 | Claire Swedberg, IF | Illinois Chill (Penn State)
Swedberg is a lefty hitter who anchors the middle of the infield and uses her 2.7 home-to-first speed to keep the defense on its heels as she can bunt, slap, and hit with power equally well. She helped her Warren (IL) High team go 28-8 last spring and win a sectional championship as she hit .475 and went 25-for-25 in steals. Swedberg also had an excellent summer for Gerry Quinn's Chill program as she flashed her excellent arm and range to make "wow" plays most middle infielders can't. The senior committed to Penn State prior to entering high school.

null93 | Sydney Sandez, P/UT | Explosion - Jacobson (Utah)
A new addition to the final Hot 100, Sandez is a big, strong, down ball pitcher with an excellent off-speed pitch. She is also a dangerous hitter and batted .375 with a .405 on-base percentage for her Olympian (Chula Vista, CA) High School where she also compiled a 1.75 ERA as a junior. Sandez comes from excellent softball bloodlines as her mother, Leslie Meyer, was a pitcher for the Mexican national team, and this summer Sandez was announced as a member of the Mexican junior national team.

null92 | Emma Clark, OF | Firecrackers - Rico (Notre Dame)
Clark has been a standout in Southern California for years and each of her three years at Mater Dei High (Santa Ana, CA) she has batted over .400. As a junior she hit .425 with a career-high 22 RBIs in 27 games and helped the Monarchs finish 22-8 and ranked No. 41 in the FloSoftball FAB 50 rankings after winning the CIF Southern Section Division I title and finishing No. 8 her sophomore year. Known as a fierce competitor, she can slap, bunt, and hit for power and has tremendous speed for her size. Clark also has excellent athletic DNA as her mom played softball at Boston College and her dad played football at Princeton.

null91 | Frankie Hammoude, 1B/C | All American Sports Academy (Oregon State)
Hammoude continues the strong OSU pipeline from Bryan Merrida's AASA program, and with the powerful hitter the Beavers will be getting one of the strongest hitters in the 2018 class. When she squares up on the ball, Hammoude can hit tape-measure shots but also can hit for a high average, as shown this spring when she batted .508 with 11 home runs in 21 games for her Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA) High team. She also had a .595 on-base percentage and 1.703 OPS. A good athlete, she has a strong glove and arm and behind the plate has been clocked at several skills camps in the 1.7 range for her pop times.
