In October, 2023 infielder Mia Williams verbally committed to Florida as a 7th grader. Florida has garnered their second verbal commitment from a 7th grader this year, Keagan Rothrock. She is 12 years old from Whiteland, Indiana, and still eligible to play 12U.

The hardest-throwing pitcher in the 2023 class, Rothrock recently clocked a screw ball at 66 mph with a spin revolution ranging from 38 to 39.
Rothrock told FloSoftball, "I had a great experience with the recruiting process and it was the easiest decision I ever had to make. Florida has been my dream school since I was old enough to know what softball was."
“I love it there. It feels like home. I love the coaches. They’re nice. They don’t want to change how I pitch. They’re all nice,” she said.
Before committing to Florida, Rothrock went on unofficial visits to Notre Dame, Missouri, Oklahoma, Auburn, and Alabama.
