Faster2First FL: How To Watch, Time, & Live Stream Info

The first event of 2018 to be live-streamed on FloSoftball will be the Florida Faster2First showcase, taking place January 5-7 at the historic Dodgertown facility located in Vero Beach, Florida.

Following a trio of successful tour stops over the last three months in Mt. Olive Township, New Jersey, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and McKinney, Texas, the Sunshine State weekend of softball will conclude the 2017-18 F2F season and has seen current and future Hot 100 talent and players ranging from the 2019 classes all the way down to the 2024 crop of future standouts.

This event will be exciting to see how strong the talent is in Florida, Georgia, and surround Southeast states, especially.

USA Wins Back-To-Back WBSC World Softball Championships

USA are back-to-back World Softball Champions today in Chiba, Japan, after a memorable finale against the host team, in front of nearly 12,000 fans at ZOZO Marine Stadium. The American team defeated Japan, 7-6, on a walk-off single by Kelsey Stewart in the tenth inning, and went undefeated on the tournament. USA also secured a berth in the Olympic Tokyo 2020 Games.

USA staged an epic comeback to beat Japan, 4-3, in front of a raucous crowd at ZoZo Marine Stadium in Chiba. The Americans head into the finals, while Japan will need an extra effort against Canada to have a chance for a rematch. If Japan beats Canada, USA will receive an automatic bid for the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. If Canada beats Japan, both teams will battle for a spot in the 2020 Olympics. 

WBSC Sets The Stage For USA & Japan In The Semifinals

USA and Japan won their respective games and advanced in the playoffs. Tomorrow they will face each other with a spot in the World Championship Finale at stake. Both teams have secured a medal thus far in the tournament.

Team Japan put on an impressive show defeating Australia, 8-1. The hosts hit three home runs and had three defensive double plays. Japan finished the round robin undefeated and will face Puerto Rico in the first game of the Championship Round. Australia, as the second place team in group B, will face USA.
