After contacting every junior college coach in the nation, conducting extensive research, and measuring the top junior college programs, we are very happy to recognize the first JUCO Hot 100.

Many of these sophomores will go on to play at four-year universities and will likely be key contributors for high- or mid-major programs in 2019. Strong and competitive at their respective positions, these talented athletes hailed from all over the country.

71 | Erin Kuba, IF | Indian Hills

Described as one of best hitters in Region 11, Kuba does it not only with her bat but also with her glove at third. Her eight home runs, 40 RBIs, and .417 average are leading the way for the Warriors as they look to get back to the national tournament.

72 | Giovanna Watts, P | Florida Southwestern

Second in the NJCAA in wins with 24 in 2018, Watts, a 5-foot-8 hurler from Lake Howell High School in Florida, put together a super impressive freshman campaign. She finished the year at 22-4 with a 1.28 ERA all while collecting first-team All-Suncoast Conference and second-team Region 8 accolades while helping the Bucs advance to their second straight College World Series.

73 | Emily Mitchell, P | Feather River

Mitchell is on fire this season, leading the California Community College Athletic Association in wins (28) and ranking second in strikeouts (208). She owns a 1.73 ERA for the 30-3-1 and No. 5-ranked Golden Eagles, who have won 22 in a row. The Reno, NV, native led Feather Ridge to the 2017 GVC Championship and looks to continue that trend, as the Golden Eagles are 16-0 in conference play and looking for a shot at the prestigious Cal State Championship.

74 | Alia Booth, IF | Georgia Highlands College

Booth transferred in for the 2018 season after seeing remarkable success at NCAA DI Gardner-Webb University. An NFCA Scholar-Athlete and a member of the Big South Presidential honor roll, the pure lefty posted strong numbers on the field as well, being named to the Big South All-Freshman team as well as first-team All-Big South Conference. So far in 2018, she ranks third in the GCAA in average (.441) as the Chargers chase a trip to the postseason with Booth leading the way.

75 | Shannon Moore, IF | Indian Hills (College of Saint Rose)

A returning All-American for NJCAA DIII national runner-up, Moore hit an astounding .545 with 50 RBIs in her first year of college ball. The Norwich, NY, middle infielder has Herkimer on top of the newest DIII poll and on its way to another trip to the World Series.

76 | Monique Ashley | Seward CC

A pure strikeout pitcher, Ashley is on the cusp of collecting 500 strikeouts by the end of her sophomore year while going down as one of the most dominant pitchers in Saints history. In 2017, she was named first-team all-conference and Jayhawk West Freshman of the Year after finishing 27-6 with 24 complete games, striking out 217 batters with 2.42 ERA, and leading the Jayhawk Conference in strikeouts and wins. Ashley has 244 Ks this season and has Seward chasing Butler for a trip to Utah.

77 |  Alissa Cienfuegos, P/DP | Long Beach City College

Cienfuegos is the current conference leader in strikeouts and slugging percentage (.789). She was named to the 2017 Cal all-state team and all-conference first team after posting impressive numbers both at the plate and on the mound. In 2018, she has pitched more innings and seen her ERA drop and strikeouts rise, as well as maintaining solid numbers at the plate (10 HRs .378 BA, .802 slugging percentage)—all definite tools to compete at the DI level.

78 | Kendall Rauk, P | Eastern Arizona

The 6-foot Missoula, MT, native has come on strong for the Gila Monsters in her sophomore season. She is 18-3 with a 1.63 ERA and has Eastern Arizona in the driver's seat for a trip to the postseason in 2018. Blessed with a potent offense, Rauk has taken over as the No. 1 starter in her sophomore year and has her team atop the standings in the ACCAC.

79 | Briana Lopez | Cerritos College

The Norwalk (CA) grad garnered first-team All-South Conference honors for the Falcons in 2017 after hitting a .364 with 10 home runs and 38 RBIs while adding a .689 slugging percentage and a .938 fielding percentage. So far in 2018 she is leading all of Cal community colleges in home runs (18) and is ranked in the top five in RBIs (50).

80 | Karli Woolington, IF | College of Central Florida

A reliable mainstay for the past two years at first base and in the DP role for Kevin Fagans’ Patriots, Woolington has raised her batting average well over 100 points in the past year. But more importantly, she has emerged as a strong leader on a roster heavily dominated by freshmen. Her team-leading .447 BA has NJCAA No. 6 Central Florida in the hunt for a spot in Utah.
