2018 SEC Softball Tournament Predictions
The SEC tournament is May 9-12 and it's time to make your predictions on the winner.
In the last four seasons, the No. 1 seed has not won the SEC tournament. Last year, Kaitlyn Lee and the eighth-seeded Ole Miss Rebels shocked Florida, Alabama, and LSU to clinch the team's first SEC tourney title. Will history repeat itself as the 2018 SEC tournament gets underway Wednesday in Columbia, MO?
The top-seeded Florida Gators have won four straight SEC regular-season championships and are seeking redemption behind ace Kelly Barnhill. But don’t count the No. 2 seed Georgia Bulldogs out of the running. They knocked off the Gators in early conference play but will be without ace Brittany Gray.
The biggest surprise this season has been No. 3 seed South Carolina, which steamrolled Tennessee and finished third in the SEC. Could the Gamecocks be the next SEC tournament champ?
