The Wait For PGF Is Almost Over

Standing at 5-foot-9, Jordan Woolery is the perfect softball specimen. The first class of 2022 commit in the Pac-12, her talent is proof that she can play at the highest level, especially for a historic program such as UCLA. Woolery is fierce at the plate and is the quiet leader of the Lady Magic.

Growing up, Woolery was always a Bruins fan. Easton Stadium in Los Angeles was a six-hour drive from her hometown near the Bay, but distance wouldn’t stop her from attending as many camps as she could. Athletes such as Ally Carda and Delaney Spaulding inspired her to one day leave her legacy at UCLA.

Woolery committed to UCLA in the fall of 2017 and we honestly can't wait to watch her tear it up on the field as a Bruin.

Lady Magic 16U

What is your team dynamic like?

We always have a good time. All of us are always pushing each other to get better including our coaches.

How would you describe your family?

I would say I’m super close with my family. I’m an only child, so I get to spend quite a bit of time with them which is nice.

Other than your family, who is your biggest role model?

My teammates would have to be my role models. They’ve always been there for me and I can’t thank them enough for making me better each and every day.

Do you have any other hobbies/sports?

I play volleyball and basketball, but out of the two, basketball would have to be my favorite mainly because I’m better at it.

If you could go anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

Hawaii. I just want to lay out over there.

Have you had any setbacks that kept you from playing?

I had a back injury at one point, but wanting to get back on the field really motivated me to get through the countless chiropractor appointments.

How do you get pumped before games?

I have a go-to playlist on iTunes that helps me get ready for my games.

What is your go-to pregame snack?

My pregame snack involves going to Starbucks to get my sausage sandwich and strawberry venti.

What is your favorite Netflix show?

"The Office"

Who is your favorite character on there and why?

Kevin. He always makes me laugh.

What is your favorite movie?

"The Incredibles." Counting down the days till the second one comes out. I’m honestly down to watch any kind of superhero movie, though.

What made you want to go to UCLA?

The entire staff there is incredible. They really made me feel welcomed. It felt like home for me especially after walking around campus.

What was one thing that stood out to you about their program?

The legacy really stood out to me. So many great players have gone through that program. Each of them has accomplished amazing things including the coaches.
