The voters for the 2022 Hot 100 made FloSoftball history with nearly 140,000 nominations cast to help decide which players were included in the rankings. The talent is overflowing in this class, which is studded with more catchers in the Hot 100 than ever before. Two things that make this class of athletes special are the versatility and strength of hitters and defenders.

These rankings are always subject to change in next year's updated list, and this summer and fall will reveal contenders and pretenders.

70 | Lauren Camenzind, MIF | DeMarini Aces

DeMarini coach Ryan Taylor is excited about middle infield prospect Lauren Camenzind because she gets incredible reads with excellent footwork and precision. A spark plug on offense, Camenzind leads the team in batting average, extra-base hits, and home runs. Not only does she tally up the extra base hits she isn't far behind in RBIs just behind Hot 100 and Florida State-commit Katie Brooks.

69 | Abby Dalton, OF | Batbusters - K. Stith

Abby Dalton is being compared to a young Chip Bennett in the way she can place and slap the ball with control and precision. Batting over .400 and getting on more than 50% of the time, her speed continues to frustrate the defense when she steals bases or takes the extra bag. She's swiped over 20 bases this season and is on a talented Batbuster team bound for PGF. Dalton commands the defense from center and leads the team through her work ethic and relentless pursuit of perfection.

68 | Keely Williams, OF | Texas Bombers Gold (Texas A&M)

Williams is super athletic outfielder who hits with power from the left side. She's got very good size, strength, and above average speed. She's a triple threat at the plate dropping bunts and bombs.

67 | Jayden Gailey, P/1B/3B | EC Bullets - Mayfield

Gailey has been played 18U all season and pitched every game. Finished 3rd - Working with pitching coach Lisa Ramos, Gailey mixes fastball, changeup, and rise. Her fastball has a natural tail leaving hitters wondering why they can't quite square it up. She's clocked around 58 mph and hits her spots well. What makes her unique is that she's also a power hitter for EC Bullets who finished 3rd at 12U Premier PGF Nationals. She's attracting  SEC and ACC interest.

66 | Cassie Boatright, MIF | Georgia Impact - Gussaeff

Boatright is a middle infielder playing in her fifth season in the Impact program and, despite being the youngest player on the team, is one of the leaders on and off the field. She has a cannon for an arm and soft hands while playing both middle infield positions. This past summer she hit in the middle of the lineup for Jason Gusaeff’s team batting a combined .417 at the Triple Crown Sparkler tournament and PGF Nationals. She led the team in home runs the past two seasons and as an 8th grader, last fall in Georgia high school ball was named 1st Team All-State playing for Loganville Christian Academy. Also a 1st Team All-Region basketball player, she has been on multiple SEC visits and has several offers heading into the spring season.

65 | Makayla Marbury, MIF | Lady Lightning Futures (Maryland)

Marbury is an unbelievable power at the plate, game changer with excellent glove and range. She is hands down one of the most versatile, athletic and powerful players on the East Coast. She’s a multi-positional player whose versatility allows her to play anywhere behind the pitcher. According to one top ACC-area coach, Marbury, “possesses unlimited power” and that didn’t escape the attention of ACC and Big Ten schools who moved on her quickly. By far the best pure hitter in Virginia in this class.

64 | Kayla Lyon, C | Athletics - Mercado/Greg

Kayla Lyon hits the snot out of the ball. Built like a pitbull, Lyon turn heads launching moon shots over the fence at several tournaments. She caught the attention of SEC, Pac-12 schools and mid-majors.

63 | Madison McClarity, UTL | Texas Travelers

McClarity could be a linebacker but she makes a way better softball player. Blessed with athletic genes, her dad played college football and mom was a volleyball player. Batting in either the 3-4-5-hole, she hits for power and average. After making the USA All-American team, over 15 schools recruited McClarity for her bat and her ability to play multiple positions. McClarity is on pace to be a big-time hitter in the Lone Star State.

62 | Alexis Mastin, C | Tulsa Elite 316

With a 1.88 pop time, Mastin is a clear standout for Tulsa Elite 316. Coach Jeff Falali loves how she commands the field behind the plate and is a total team player. At the plate, she's hit 8 home runs with a .585 avg.

61 | Jesse Denardo, 1B/C | Lady Dukes

A corner and a catcher, Denardo has a cannon and is one of the top players to watch this summer for the Lady Dukes. "The ball explodes off of her bat," said Coach Marissa Young. Her ability to stay inside the ball and take the ball opposite field makes her an ideal 3-4-5 hitter.
