The voters for the 2022 Hot 100 made FloSoftball history with nearly 140,000 nominations cast to help decide which players were included in the rankings. The talent is overflowing in this class, which is studded with more catchers in the Hot 100 than ever before. Two things that make this class of athletes special are the versatility and strength of hitters and defenders.

We’ve partnered with AthPro360 which measures thousands of athletes at every level and is now gathering data on the top club organizations around the country. AthPro360’s objective performance data will weigh heavily in the Hot 100 rankings.

One new addition to our class rankings that we’re excited to release are the position-specific rankings. We’ve traditionally ranked the top 100 athletes in their respective class. Following the release of the Hot 100, we are going to rank the top 25 players by position: outfield, middle infield, corners, catchers, and pitchers.

These rankings are always subject to change in next year's updated list, and this summer and fall will reveal contenders and pretenders.

60 | Ailana Agbayani, 2B/P | Batbusters - K.Stith

Batting .438 this year with a .474 on-base percentage, Agbayani is master of using her tools whether that be her power slap, soft slap, or sneaky bunt. Agbayani is equipped with wonderful hands and footwork as a middle infielder but she's also the No. 2 pitcher in the rotation. The 5-foot-3 Batbuster is an integral part of the offense and defense. She will be one of the top second baseman's to keep an eye on.

59 | Logan Cole, MIF/OF | Mizuno Storm Mathis/Holtorf

Cole is a very dynamic player bringing natural abilities and instincts to play solid up the middle. Her great hands and silky smooth catch delivery is poetry in motion. She plays both middle positions well, and also runs the outfield very well. In the outfield, she gets great reads and she is selfless when it comes to making the superman grab.  As the leadoff batter for Mizuno, she's a triple threat from the left side.

58 | Raven Thompson, UTL | EC Bullets - Mayfield (Louisiana)

Thompson is a winner on the field and on the court. A dual-athlete, on the field she can play anywhere and on the basketball court she puts on 20 or more points a game. Her intensity and aggressiveness batting in the three hole helped propel EC Bullets - Mayfield to a top 3 finish at PGF Premier nationals. On defense, Thompson moves incredibly well laterally and will be one of the top players to watch this summer.

57 | Victoria Valdez, IF/C | Texas Bombers Gold HTX - Burgess

Victoria Valdez a big-time infielder for Bombers Gold HTX. Power with her bat and a knack for the big play drew interest from SEC and Big 12 schools. She hits in the middle of the lineup and played in the inaugural PGF 10U National Championship game as a member of the Texas Chaos where they were National Runners-up. Last season, she was slowed by injury still managing to hit .419, with 3 home runs and 91 RBI. Now injury free, she has been on a tear and is hitting .439, with and 40 RBI and 9 home runs. Valdez was also on the winning team of the USA All American Games in OKC in 2017.

56 | Ashley Phillips, UTL | Birmingham Thunderbolts 04

Phillips is a true utility player, who has played middle infield and outfield for the Thunderbolts over the years. She was the starting second baseman on her Varsity team last year alongside fellow Thunderbolts, Emmah Rolfe.  A spray hitter who prides herself on line drives, Ashley continues to hit the ball hard year after year and is one of the most difficult outs in the lineup.  She has great speed and can be a threat to steal on any pitch.

55 | Jenna Birch, P/MIF | CA Breeze - Birch (Oregon State)

A 5-Tool athlete with remarkable athleticism, tremendous versatility, and highly evolved leadership ability, Birch is one of the top prospects from Northern California. Last summer, Birch had a number of Pac-12, Big Ten, and Big 12 schools on her recruiting trail before she verbally committed to Oregon State. Birch can pitch, hit, run, and play the middle. Breeze finished 17th as a young 14 & under team and will be a strong contender this summer.

54 | Sydney Doloszycki, MIF | Beverly Bandits (Syracuse)

The starting shortstop for Beverly Bandits - Harkness is an absolute stud. Coach Bill Conroy was really excited about prospect Doloszycki who is a sponge at absorbing info and adjusting. A team leader and team player, she helped the Bandits to a 3rd place finish and PGF Premier Nationals.

53 | Caydra Parker, OF | Georgia Impact - Fisher (South Carolina)

After a strong performance at 12U Premier PGF Nationals, Parker had a very good tournament in their runner-up finish at PGF Premier 12U. Parker is a premier hitter from the left side with gap to gap power, big time bat speed, and produces line drive home run power. Coach Josh Fisher raved about Parker's arm strength in the outfield and is as steady as they come.

52 | Avery Weisbrook, SS/P | Ohana Tigers

Ohana Tigers coach Joey Quarles called Weisbrook a "pure softball player" and already she already has the swag and confidence of a Division I middle. Batting third or fourth, she is stacked perfectly in the box and has a knack for hitting the gaps. Her ability to hit for power and average is crucial to the Tigers run production. On defense, she is so smooth and fields from so many different angles and can throw effortlessly from different arm slots.

51 | Ella Whitney, P/DH | Indiana Magic Gold - Bay (Kentucky)

Whitney is a force to be reckoned with on Indiana Magic - Bay. Equipped on the mound with 62 mph curve and drop, she does an excellent job keeping hitters off balance inducing easy pop outs. Not only a stud in the circle, Whitney is a terrific hitter with 10 home runs this spring hitting cleanup. Off the field, you can find Whitney keeping busy on the basketball and volleyball court. She has a great work ethic and great charisma and will be the perfect fit for Rachel Lawson's Wildcats.
