Alabama, Utah, Indiana, Iowa, and Missouri added key commits in the 2019 and 2020 class.

But the biggest news came from the Bolts camp with 2021 #26 Hot 100 player Annabelle Widra opening up her recruiting options. Widra was verbally committed to Oklahoma State. At this time, we do not know the reason for her decommit, but will continue to cover the ongoing story. Widra finished her freshman season named Player of the Year at Spain Park after winning the Class 7A AHSAA Championship posting a 23-8 record with six saves and setting a single-season record of 294 strikeouts.

Corona Angels outfielder Nia Carter recently changed her verbal commitment from Louisville to Iowa in the last week. She will be on playing on Marty Tyson's 18U team. The 2019 outfielder had a setter junior year at St. Paul High School batting .541 and a .717 slugging percentage with 9 steals.

Missouri added two commits this week with Birmingham Thunderbolts ace Megan Schumacher. Schumacher was originally verbally committed to Hostra under Coach Larissa Anderson and will continue her career as a Mizzou Tiger. Mizzou also adds 2020 infielder Jenna Laird from Team Long Island DeMarini. Laird was named Nassau Player of the Year after hitting .663 with 34 RBIs and 19 stolen bases.

If we're missing a verbal commitment, please fill out and submit this form.
