The transfer saga continues at the University of Oregon.

Junior pitcher Maggie Balint appears to be jumping ship according to numerous sources. Balint was the last remaining pitcher from the trifecta staff of Miranda Elish and Megan Kleist. Elish transferred to Texas and Kleist will take this season off and join Louisiana next fall.

Balint had a brilliant freshman season posting a 21-3 record with a 1.22 ERA, 152 strikeouts earning All Pac-12 honors and First Team All-Region.

On January 22, she posted an official statement via Twitter.

Last season, she was sidelined for part of the year due to injury only throwing eight games and less than 60 innings.

Balint is the seventh player to leave Oregon since the coaching change.

That leaves only two pitchers on the Oregon pitching staff and one solid catcher. The Ducks will lean on transfers Jordan Dail and Maddie MacGrandle for the remainder of the season.
