FloSoftball PGF 18U PREMIER All-Tournament Team

MVP PITCHER

Allison Royalty, P | Athletics Mercado (2020, Arizona State)

The Arizona State-committed 2020 right-hander, went 4-0 with a 0.30 ERA and 48 strikeouts in 23.2 innings, tossed a one-hitter with 14 Ks to lead the Athletics to a 1-0 victory over Georgia Impact-Lewis in the PGF 18U Premier national championship game.

MVP PLAYER

Paige Smith, IF | Athletics Mercado (Ole Miss)

The Ole Miss-bound infielder has been a clutch hitter throughout her high school and club career, especially at Deanna Manning Stadium, the site of the PGF 18U Premier national title game where she knocked in the winning run with a double in the bottom of the sixth. She batted .444 with a homer, two doubles, five runs and five RBI at PGF.


ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM


Ryleigh White, P | Athletics Mercado (2020, Tennesee)

The reason the Athletics were so unstoppable at PGF was that they had another dominant pitcher in White, a 2020 Tennessee-committed right-hander, who went 3-0 with a 0.00 ERA and 19 strikeouts in 18.1 innings.


Val Pero, C | Athletics Mercado (2020, Oregon State)

The Oregon State-bound catcher batted .313 with a homer and five RBIs and played stellar defense behind the plate for the Athletics.


Alex Salter, P | Georgia Impact-Lewis (2020, Alabama)

The Alabama-committed 2020 right-hander pitched 21 innings on Friday, July 26, to earn Georgia Impact's second consecutive trip to the PGF 18U Premier national title game and only allowed three hits and one earned run in the loss to Athletics-Mercado in the finals. She was Georgia Impact's "workhorse."

Katie Goldberg, IF | Georgia Impact-Lewis (Virginia)

The Virginia-bound infielder smashed six home runs and batted .486 in bracket play at PGF.

Dallas Goodnight, OF | Georgia Impact-Lewis, 2021

"She was a triple-threat all tournament," said Georgia Impact coach Patrick Lewis of Goodnight's phenomenal play at PGF.


McKenzie Clark, CF | Tampa Mustangs-TJ (2020, Clemson)

The Clemson-committed 2020 CF batted .542 with a 1.53 OPS, 13 hits, two doubles, a triple, two homers, seven RBIs and she was outstanding on defense with two outfield assists and a home run-robbing catch.

Payton Kinney, P | Tampa Mustangs-TJ (2020, UConn)

The UConn-committed 2020 pitcher went 5-1 with 19 strikeouts and five walks in 27.1 innings to help the Mustangs to a third-place finish.


Kali Reis, SS | Tampa Mustangs-TJ (2020, Florida)

The Florida-committed 2020 flashed some outstanding defense at shortstop and batted .435 with a .500 on-base percentage for the Mustangs.


Devyn Netz, P | So Cal Athletics-Richardson (2020, Arizona)

The Arizona-committed 2020 right-hander carried the So Cal A's to the semifinals and a third-place finish at PGF, going 5-2 with a 2.23 ERA and 24 strikeouts in 47 innings and she hit two homers and drove in seven runs.


Jazmine Hill, IF/OF | So Cal Athletics-Richardson (Arizona State)

The Arizona State-bound IF/OF scored four runs, knocked in six runs and stole three bases to help the So Cal A's run to the semifinals.


Shelby Lowe, P | Birmingham Thunderbolts Premier (2020, Auburn)

The Auburn-committed 2020 southpaw went 4-1 with a 1.22 ERA and 42 strikeouts in 40.1 innings to help the Bolts to a fifth-place finish at PGF.

Hannah Borden, C/1B | Birmingham Thunderbolts Premier (Southern Miss)

The Southern Mississippi-bound C/1B hit .353 with two homers and five RBIs for the Bolts.


Janelle Meono, OF | OC Batbusters-Stith (Arizona)

The speedy Arizona-bound outfielder batted .578 and knocked in four runs to help the Batbusters to a fifth-place finish at PGF.

Sharlize Palacios, C/1B | OC Batbusters-Stith (Arizona)

The Arizona-bound C/1B hit .500, smashed two homers and knocked in 10 runs for the Batbusters.

Raegan Breedlove, P | Universal Fastpitch-Garcia (2020, Oregon)

The Oregon-committed 2020 pitcher went 5-2 with 46 strikeouts in 39 innings.

Alexis Bishop, C | Universal Fastpitch-Garcia (2020, Oregon)

The Cal-committed 2020 catcher hit .389 with four homers and eight RBIs for Universal Fastpitch.

Carli Kloss, C | Firecrackers-TJ (2020, Notre Dame)

The Notre Dame-committed 2020 C batted .506 with a .622 on-base percentage to help the Firecrackers to a ninth-place finish at PGF.

Brianna Aranzeta, UT | Impact Gold-Jackson (Texas Tech)

The Texas Tech-bound UT hit. 384 with a .500 on-base percentage and four homers for Impact Gold.

Megan Lee, P/OF | Impact Gold-Jackson (2020, Houston)

The Houston-committed 2020 P/OF had four wins, a save and a 1.60 ERA in 28 innings of bracket play at PGF.

Rylie Costa, 3B | LTG Lions-Henderson/Lively (2020, Minnesota)

The Minnesota-committed 2020 3B hit .523 with two homers and nine RBIs, including a walk-off homer in the ninth and a grand slam against the Beverly Bandits.

Peyton Toto, SS | LTG Lions-Henderson/Lively (2020, CSUF)

The Cal State Fullerton-committed 2020 SS hit .454 with 10 hits and six RBIs for the LTG Lions.


Abby Doerr, Beverly Bandits-Kelly/Tyrrell (2020, Alabama)

The Alabama-committed 2020 C/1B hit .500 with a double, three homers, six runs scored and 11 RBIs for the Bandits.


Kiki Milloy, OF | Beverly Bandits-Kelly/Tyrrell (Tennessee)

The Tennessee-bound OF hit .458 (11 for 24) with three doubles, five homers, 11 runs scored and 12 RBIs for the Bandits.


Maddie Penta, P | PA Chaos Gold (2020, Auburn)

The Auburn-committed 2020 pitcher went 5-1 with a 1.03 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 39 innings for Chaos.
