Ivy League Does Not Approve Additional Year Of Eligibility
Ivy League presidents turn down extra year of eligibility for student-athletes after Division I Council approves waiver for addition year.
According to Dana O'Neil of The Athletic, Ivy League presidents did not approve the additional year of eligibility for 2020 spring student-athletes affected by the cancellation of their season in lieu of the Division I Council granting waivers for an additional year of competition.
Source: Ivy League presidents did not approve one-time exception for fifth-year athletes. In other words, spring sport seniors do not get an extra year.
