Wisconsin AD Confirms 2020 Spring Sport Seniors Will Not Return In 2021
Wisconsin will not be implementing the NCAA's eligibility extension for 2020 spring sport seniors affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Wisconsin will not be implementing the NCAA's eligibility extension for 2020 spring sport seniors affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
Athletic Director of Wisconsin Barry Alvarez confirmed, "What we tried to do was encourage our seniors to go ahead and, if you're going to graduate, graduate and move on with your life," Alvarez told USA Today. "We appreciate everything that you've done. But move forward. The future is in question, and we can't promise you anything."
Seniors affected are Kayla Konwent, Stephanie Lombardo, Heather Rudnicki, Jordan Little, Kaitlyn Mentz, and Caroline Hedgecock.
