Athletes Unlimited today announced a deal with DraftKings, Inc. to offer fans a “free-to-play pool” challenge as part of the softball league’s continued effort to engage with sports fans through the remainder of its inaugural season.

Every once in a while, a coach’s dream comes true. For Atlanta Premier Gold coach Steven Locke, it happened in a remarkable way.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Jordyn Bahl of Papillion (Neb.) LaVista High School garnered 2020-21 MaxPreps/NFCA High School Player of the Week honors for her outstanding performance during the week of Sept 14-20.

The Division I Council extended the recruiting dead period through Jan. 1. The Council has been reviewing the dead period on a regular basis since April. A dead period precludes all in-person recruiting. Phone calls and correspondence can continue to occur.

Leighann Goode grew up watching Texas softball and dreaming of the day she would take the field in a Longhorn jersey. The San Antonio native is one step closer to making that dream a reality verbally committed to the University of Texas.

Before the recruiting rules changed in 2018, the temptation to commit early was overpowering, especially for a player as highly sought after as Dakota Kennedy.
