How to Watch: 2020 Bombers Exposure Weekend - Veterans

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Garland Shirley, head coach at Clarke University (NAIA), is the inaugural recipient of the NFCA’s Natasha Watley Scholarship for Social Change, presented in partnership with Sue Enquist. 

The first weekend in November will find some of the top teams in the country converging on College Station, Texas to take the field in the 2020 Bombers Exposure Weekend tournament.

It’s a quote from Bob Shipley, a former Texas high school coach and athletics director. The first sentence is particularly meaningful to Kayden, a left-handed-hitting outfielder for Texas Bombers-Smith: 

During the 2019 CIF Southern Section semifinals, South Torrance (California) High freshman infielder Avery Weisbrook came to bat in the sixth inning against Roosevelt. The game was scoreless, with a runner on second and nobody out.
