How To Watch: 2021 College Basketball Invitational

The 2021 College Basketball Invitational is streaming live and on demand right here on FloHoops. Let's go through a quick rundown of the eight teams in the tournament, and be sure to tune in Monday through Wednesday this week for the action. The 2021 College Basketball Invitational starts on Mar 22, 2021, and runs until Mar 24, 2021.

Stetson

The Hatters finished in the middle of the pack in the Atlantic Sun and bring a potent offense that scores more than 70 points per game. They fell to No. 1 seed Liberty — which lost narrowly to Oklahoma State in the NCAA Tournament — in the conference tournament.

Bowling Green

The Falcons finished in third in the East division of the MAC, and are another side bringing a high-powered offense to the College Basketball Invitational.

Coastal Carolina

The Chanticleers enjoyed a very successful season in the Sun Belt, going 16-7 to finish in third place in the conference. They were bounced in the conference tournament by an Appalachian State squad that rode the momentum all the way to the tournament crown.

Bryant

The Bulldogs bring a powerful offense to the College Basketball Invitational tournament, as demonstrated by their early-season game when they dropped a whopping 84 points on Syracuse — a team that just booked a trip to the Sweet 16. Bryant finished 15-6 on the year.

Longwood

The Lancers are yet another team in this tournament that are tough on both sides of the basketball; they finished in fifth place in the Big South.

Pepperdine

If there's any team in this tournament that knows top-level competition, it's Pepperdine. The Waves hail from the West Coast Conference where they clashed with the likes of powerhouse Gonzaga, as well as a very good BYU team (whom the Waves defeated back in January). The Waves are a balanced bunch and will be a tough out.

Bellarmine

You want a great story on Bellarmine? We ran an entire feature on the Knights, which you can find here. For now, here's just a little taste:

Axe throwing, go-kart racing, and a trip to Daytona Beach — it’s not Spring Break for Bellarmine basketball. This week is much more special than that.

Ahead of the Knights’ first-ever Div. I postseason tournament, with their College Basketball Invitational matchup against Army on March 22, wing Pedro Bradshaw the Bellarmine team is enjoying as much of a postseason experience as the pandemic era allows.

“We’ve been practicing hard,” Bradshaw said, but added the leisurely bonding time provides a welcome change-of-pace. “That definitely helps keep guys engaged and keep them from getting out of [rhythm].”

Army West Point

The Black Knights finished a perfectly even 7-7 in the Patriot League, good enough for fourth place in the conference, and made the semifinals of the postseason tournament before losing narrowly to the Loyola Greyhounds.
