The Virginia wrestling program just got stronger with the additions of Jack and Michael Gioffre, the #48 and #63 recruits in the class of 2022. The Buchanan High School products will be taking their talents from California to the east coast to join Steve Garland and company.

Jack Gioffre made his announcement with the following post on Instagram. He has been a staple on the national scene for some time and currently holds the #10 spot in the high school rankings at 132 lbs.

Michael Gioffre also took to Instagram to announce his commitment. He currently holds the #9 spot at 138 lbs and has racked up impressive wins in the last year including a victory over Fargo finalist Ramon Ramos.

The Gioffre brothers bolster a 2022 Cavaliers class that already includes Big Boarders #69 Garrett Grice and #93 Keyveon Roller along with Kyle Montaperto, Peyton Fenton, and Nick Sanko who are excellent as well.
