The next big domino to fall in the class of 2022 is a Blair Academy big man who's had an incredible summer and has an equally bright future. TJ Stewart, the top remaining recruit in the class of 2022, has made his college decision. He announced his decision with the following post on Instagram.

The future Virginia Tech Hokie prospect is no stranger to the national scene. He won a 16u Fargo title in 2019, and then repeated the feat in a loaded Junior bracket this summer. His high-flying match with Brian Soldano had one of the bigger highlights of the entire tournament.

Stewart, a prospect at 184 lbs and currently #25 on the senior Big Board, joins Caleb Henson, the #4 recruit in 2022 in a recruiting class that is coming together nicely for the Hokies.

Stewart will have plenty of upper-weight partners at VT as NCAA champion Mekhi Lews, now up at 174 lbs, could be back for three more seasons, All-American 184-pounder Hunter Bolen could return for a fifth year of eligibility next year (Stewart's true freshman year), and NCAA qualifier 197-pounder Dakota Howard could choose to compete through the 2023-2024 season.
