Probable line-ups

125: Baylor Shunk (Penn State) vs. HM Ryan Miller (Penn)

1st period: Miller appeared to have a takedown but Campbell countered with a body lock but no points were awarded. Miller scores a takedown a few seconds later for the first points and rode out the entire period to take a 2-0 lead into the second. 

2nd period: Miller picked down to start the period. Miller gets away for an escape 27 seconds into the period on a stand-up. Miller picks up his second takedown on a reattack for a 5-0 lead. 

3rd period: Shunk picked down to start the period. Shunk gets his first point on the board with an escape. Miller still leads 5-1. Miller picked up his third takedown on a go-behind and Shunk immediately gets an escape. The match ends with Miller winning 8-2 after riding time.

133: Brandon Meredith (Penn State) vs. #8 Michael Colaiocco (Penn)

1st: Colaiocco scores first on a single to take a 2-0 lead about a minute into the match. Meredith was hit for stalling on the bottom with 30 seconds remaining in the period. Colaiocco takes a 2-0 lead into the second. 

2nd: Colaiocco chooses down and escapes immediately for a 3-0 lead. Colaiocco finishes with a double to extend his lead to 5-0. 

3rd: Meredith chooses down to start the period and Colaiocco lets Meredith go immediately to take a 5-1 lead. Colaiocco scores another takedown on a counter and lets Meredith loose immediately for a 7-2 lead. Colaiocco scored a takedown at the buzzer but the Penn State corner challenges the call. The call stands and Colaiocco wins by major decision, 10-2.

1st: Lee gets on the board a minute into the match with a high crotch but Ferrante escapes moments later but Lee scores again for a 4-1 lead. 

2nd: Ferrante chooses down and escapes to close the gap to 4-2. Lee scores his first takedown of the period at the 1:00 mark for a 6-2 lead. An escape by Ferrante makes it 6-3. 

3rd: Lee chooses down to start the period. Ferrante rides Lee the entire period but drops the match, 6-3.

149: #17 Beau Bartlett (Penn State) vs. #22 Anthony Artalona (Penn)

1st: Artalona strikes first with a single-leg 20 seconds into the match but Bartlett immediately escapes. Artalona leads, 2-1. 

2nd: Bartlett chooses down to start the period and gets a reversal 1:15 into the period. Bartlett leads, 3-2. 

3rd: Artalona chooses down to start the period and escapes in 11 seconds. 3-3. 

Sudden Victory: No score.

Tiebreakers: Artolona starts first in the down position and Bartlett rides him the entire 30 second period. Bartlett goes down for the second period and cuts Bartlett loose immediately. Artolona is unable to score and drops the match, 4-3.

1st: No scoring. 

2nd: Zapf starts the period don and escapes within 15 seconds for a 1-0 lead. Zapf scores off a high crotch 1:03 into the period for a 3-0 lead. Barraclough to cut the lead to 3-1. 

3rd: Barraclough chooses down to start the period. Zapf locks up a riding time point with 35 seconds remaining but Barraclough escapes with 12 seconds remaining. Zapf wins 4-2 after riding time.

165: HM Creighton Edsell (Penn State) vs. HM Lucas Revano (Penn)

1st: Edsell strikes first for a takedown off a leg attack at 1:20 left in the first period. Revano Granby's for an escape with eight seconds remaining in the period to cut the lead to 2-1.

2nd: Edsell starts down and escapes in 30 seconds to extend his lead to 3-1. 

3rd: Revano chooses down to start the period but Edsell goes over a minute of riding time 30 seconds into the match. Revano escapes with 1:16 remaining to cut the lead to 3-2. Revano scores a takedown at the buzzer to send the match into sudden victory.

Sudden Victory: Edsell gets a throw-by for a takedown and the win.

1st: Starocci defended his way out of a deep shot and reversed the position for a takedown and a 2-0 lead. Incontrera gets on the board with an escape halfway through the period but Starocci scores off a single leg to extend his lead to 4-1. Another escape makes in 4-2 but Starocci scores another takedown for a 6-2 lead. 

2nd: Incontrera chooses down and escapes in 15 seconds to cut the lead to 6-3. Starocci picks up a takedown off of a single for an 8-3 lead at the end of the period.

3rd: Starocci chooses down and escapes in 20 seconds for a 9-3 lead. Another takedown off of a cradle makes it 11-3. A second stall warning against Incontrera and a riding time point make in a 13-3 win for Starocci.

2nd: Ball takes bottom and extends his lead to 6-1 after an escape in 15 seconds. Ball scores another takedown off of a treetop single for an 8-1 lead. Ball picks up two near-fall points when Martinez scrambles to his back for a 10-1 lead. 

3rd: Martinez starts down and escapes to cut the lead to 10-2. Martinez was hit for stalling with 1:20 left. Martinez staves off a takedown to pick up his first offensive points of the match, cutting the lead to 10-4. An escape by Ball makes it 11-4.
