When Sue Enquist retired after 27 years of coaching and winning 11 National Championships. No one was more fitting to take over the UCLA program than Kelly Inouye-Perez. In 2010, Coach Inouye-Perez and the Bruins shocked the world when they won the National Title. The Bruins have hit some bumps on the road to Oklahoma City but you can never count the Bruins out.

The Tigers were beating the Ducks by seven runs when Lowary was struck by a line drive off the bat of Nikki Udria. During the course of the season, Lowary struggled with depression and lack of concentration due to a misdiagnosed concussion. Following the season, she transferred to the University of Oklahoma to begin a new chapter. This is her story.
