1.  Florida Pitches Three Shutouts

What the No. 1 Florida Gators did to Top 20 Ole Miss over the weekend was incredible.


Florida pitched three straight shutouts at home in Gainesville: 2-0, 3-0, and 5-0. But, not only did the Gators not allow a run during the series, they only allowed 7 hits the entire weekend.


The Rebels collected two hits on Friday, two on Saturday, and three on Sunday. Yes, Florida scored more runs (10) than Ole Miss had hits (7) the entire weekend.


Kelly Barnhill threw a two-hit shutout on Friday, Delanie Gourley took care of the shutout on Saturday, and Barnhill pitched five of the seven shutout innings on Sunday.
