The Diamond 9 Rundown

Friday at Diamond 9, I checked out the games on Fields 10-15 at ESPN Wide World of Sports.

The day started off with Chaos Gold against the Windemere Wildfire Gold Dunn. No. 4 Hot 100 2016 recruit, Maggie Balint was in the circle for Chaos. Balint didn't look so hot in the beginning of the game issuing a number of walks accompanied by a string of errors on defense. Luckily, the offense bounced back with a monster lead off home run by Illinois commit Serenity Stewart. That home run led to an eight run inning solidifying the win for PA Chaos.

Texas Blaze and California Cruisers faced off against one another in a close battle. The Texas Blaze stacked with a number of returners committed to the SEC, Big 12, Big East, and Sun Belt conference. The Cruisers, undergoing a rebuild year working with young up and coming players. Huntyer Ava, 2019 recruit will be one to watch. Ava has monstrous size and clutch factor hitting in run number two for the Cruisers. The Cruisers came up short losing 3-2.

Explosion - Denio struggled against the impressive Espirit Premier - Huecker team . Espirit's second baseman Jenny Jansen hit two bombs securing the win 10-2.
