Erica Russell Robs Ellie Cooper At Mary Nutter

Mary Nutter weekend two has become a battlefield for top ranked teams. Day one, the Tennessee Vols beat top-ranked Oklahoma 2-1 in a nail biter.

We saw newly crowned No.1 Florida State fall on the first day against No. 18 Texas A&M. 

The turning point in the game was when Ellie Cooper smoked a a deep fly to center but Erica Russell made the leaping grab to rob Cooper of a home run.

Kaitlyn Alderink snapped the scoreless game when she hit a two-run bomb to right center off of Jessica Burroughs putting the Aggies up 2-0.
