FloSoftball returns to the Judi Garman Classic to LIVE stream one of the greatest college softball events March 2-5, 2017 at Cal State Fullerton. This year Florida, UCLA, Michigan, Washington, Cal, South Carolina, Fresno State, Arizona State, Baylor, Cal, Northwestern, Indiana, Long Beach State, Iowa, and Cal State Fullerton will slug it out at Anderson Family Field. What To Watch For At Judi Garman


No. 1 Florida (15-1)
When: See Schedule
Why: The Gators travel to Judi Garman with four pitcher below a 1.00 ERA. Sophomore Kelly Barnhill holds the 9th best ERA with 0.19 ERA and 76 strikeouts. Delaney Gourley follows with a 0.75 ERA and 58 strikeouts. On offense, expect Sophia Reynoso and Kayli Kvistad to drive the offense. Both gators are batting well over .400.

No. 7 UCLA (13-3)
When: See Schedule
Why: The Bruins continue their tough schedule into Judi Garman. Last week, UCLA took a couple of losses against Oklahoma and Florida State but had a big win over LSU. The team is batting .355 with Kylee Perez and Delaney Spaulding both batting over .450. Look for Madeline Jelenicki to hit her stride as she leads the team in home runs (5). Red-shirt freshman Rachel Garcia got roughed up for the first time last weekend but expect her to bounce back.

No. 8 Washington (11-2)
When: See Schedule
Why: The Huskies have not shied away from a challenging schedule. Last weekend at Mary Nutter, they took a tough loss against Missouri but did drop any other games despite close games. On offense, they are No. 20 in the nation in scoring runs (88) and are batting .339 as a team. Casey Stangel leads the team in home runs (5). Taran Alvelo has been their ace against top opponents with 48 strike outs under her belt.

No. 14 Michigan (9-4-1)
When: See Schedule
Why: Judi Garman may be the turning point for Michigan. The last two games of Mary Nutter were impressive despite their four losses. Megan Betsa is turning up the heat in the circle compiling 78 strike outs (No. 4). Kelly Christner has been the toughest out in the Michigan order. She's No. 8 in the county in RBIs (20).

No. 20 Arizona State (12-3)
When: See Schedule
Why: Trisha Ford's Sun Devil's are showing good promise after last weekend at Mary Nutter. Taylor Becerra and Chelsea Gonzales are both batting over .400 with Ulufa Leilua leading in home runs and RBIs. The pitching rotation for the Sun Devils are Giselle "G" Juarez, Breanna Macha, and Dale Ryndak with Juarez leading in strike outs (32).

Baylor (14-3)
When: See Schedule
Why: Glenn Moore has a speedy team that has stolen 42 bases in 17 games. Batting .500, Kyla Walker leads the team in hits and slugging percentage. In the circle, Kelsey Selman, Gia Rodoni, and Shelby McGlaun have been splitting innings. Selman leads the team with a 1.31 ERA and Rodoni leads in strike outs (42).
