Stephanie Lombardo started the scoring in the third inning with a two-run homer to right center for a 2-0 Wisconsin lead.

Indiana responded with a home run in the fourth and two more runs in the sixth to take a 3-2 lead.

The Badgers tied the game in the bottom of the sixth when Indiana walked Jordan Little with the bases loaded, sending Heather Rudnicki home.

The pitching duo of Haley Hestekin and Kaitlyn Menz combined to pitch a gem of a game. Hestekin pitched the first five innings, striking out nine while only giving up one run and two walks. Menz followed suit with four strikeouts in eight innings.
