Beth Torina, Head Coach for the LSU Tigers enters her fifth season in Baton Rouge. Beth started her college softball journey as a walk-on at the University of Florida. Soon after she started coaching at Stetson before moving on to University of Houston and FIU. We talk about her transition into coaching and how she developed her coaching philosophy and culture, T.I.G.E.R.S. (Trust, Integrity, Grit, Energy, Relentless, Selfless).
I've tried to stay true to myself. Stay true to the things I believe in. I'm not a win at all costs type of person. I understand that there's no player bigger than the program or bigger than my morals or values.
