The Charleston Invitational 2024 Schedule: What To Know

College of Charleston softball will host three teams at CofC's Patriots Point to start the 2024 college softball season. East Carolina will join Saint Joseph's and Cleveland State as the programs heading to Charleston, South Carolina for the early-season invitational.

Charleston, who was historically a good team throughout the 2010s has had a run of mediocre seasons, including going 15-37 in 2022, and 19-32 last season. They will look to improve upon those marks in 2024, and a strong start at their own invitational would go a long way.

Two players from Charleston's squad were named to the 2024 CAA Softball Preseason Watchlist, those being sophomore pitcher Caroline Connor and sophomore infielder Karlee Hughes.
