Before Feb. 18, Nebraska and Oklahoma Baseball had played 250 times but not since 2011. The matchup between the two schools was once one of college athletics' best. 

But when Nebraska left for the Big Ten after 2011, that rivalry went on a hiatus for most sports. 

On Sunday, it returned in dramatic fashion.

Oklahoma was down to its final out trailing 6-5 against Nebraska closer Casey Daiss when Michael Snyder hit an RBI double that scored John Spikerman and Jackson Willits hit a bases-loaded single as the Sooners walked-off Nebraska in a 7-6 win.

For the Cornhuskers, it was another late-inning collapse against a former Big 12 rival after allowing three runs in the ninth in a 6-3 loss to Texas Tech on Feb 17.

But this one hurt a little more for them

And it was a little sweeter for Oklahoma, who capped off one of the best weekends at the Shriners College Showdown at Globe Life. 

The Sooners beat No. 9 Tennessee in 10 innings on Feb. 17.
