Evidence that No One Can Hit a Change Up
We saw some of the best teams in softball at the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic and the Judi Garman Classic this past month and one of our big takeaways — NO ONE can hit a change up or offspeed pitch. Please someone just foul one off at least!

Hitters, with a two-strike count, you need to be expecting something offspeed. We don't have hard numbers for this, but we probably saw some kind of junk come with two strikes 50% of the time. If you can foul the junk off and show that you're timing the pitch, the likelihood that you'll see another is going to decrease.

Pitchers, perfect your junk and use it often!
