2019 JUCO Sophomore Hot 100

30

Cheyenne Andersen, OF | Iowa Central

The centerfielder has set the single-season record for home runs (24) and broke the all-time ICCC career record with 38 and counting in the past two years. Leading the country in home runs (24) and second in RBI (68) in 2019, Andersen was a role player until her senior year of high school and has found her stride in college leading the Tritons to a National ranking & hopeful spot in the postseason.

29

Sara Tate, OF | LSUE

The #1 ranked NJCAA D2 program has a gem in the outfield as Tate leads the Bengals in runs, hits and stolen bases (45, Top 5 ) while being a close second in home runs, RBIs and doubles. Eunice is looking to reclaim their National Champion status after back to back titles in 2016 and 2017.

28

Hanna Krosky, UT |  Phoenix College (Pacific)

One of the top players in the Arizona region, Krosky has been valuable to the NJCAA D2 #2 ranked  Bears in a number of ways. She selflessly took the mound when injuries plagued the pitching staff mid-season. Where she shines is at the plate, in the top five in the region in home runs (14) and RBIs (63) and in her team first mentality. Another trip to Mississippi is in the works for the Arizona Champs after a National runner-up finish a year ago.

27

Mariyah Sandoval, C | Clarendon

Two-time all WJCAC catcher, Pacifica (CA) High School alum Sandoval has helped elevate the 11th- ranked Bulldogs into national prominence in 2019. Sandoval has been a top hitter in the country all year batting .536 while raking in 69 RBIs with 9 dingers. When she’s not slugging at the plate, she handles an impressive pitching staff.

26

Paris Woods, OF | Florida Southwestern

One of the most sought after true lefty outfielders from Boulder, Colorado, Woods had a breakout season for the #2 ranked Bucs. She was named 1st team all-conference along with 1st team all-State after finishing with a .406 BA, knocking in 49 RBI & swiping 30 bases. She also had 22 multi-hit games for FSW.

23

Audrey Pickett, P | Tyler (Louisiana Tech)

Pickett has been a catalyst in the pitching circle for Maria Winn and the NJCAA 5th ranked Apaches. The Colorado native has led a solid staff with a 14-4 record and team-best ERA of 2.40.  Tyler wrapped up their run through the Region XIV winners bracket and yet another trip to the National Championships in Utah.
