Oklahoma Softball has lost just six games since the start of the 2021 season and in that time the Sooners have won three national championships. And they went 61-1 in 2023.

There’s a reason. The Sooners’ roster has been loaded with talent… and that’s not changing in 2024.

Even after losing star pitcher Jordy Bahl in the transfer portal, the Sooners are preseason No.1 and have five First Team preseason All-Americans according to Softball America. They have six overall.

Only two other players from the Big 12 made the All-American teams.

And if there were any question to just how dominant the SEC will be in softball next season when Oklahoma joins, the SEC led the list with 12 players overall.

Here are the Softball America preseason All-Americans.

First Team All-American Maya Brady returns for the UCLA Bruins and, yes, she is the niece of former NFL superstar Tom Brady.
