We will be recognizing the top sophomores from Junior Colleges across the country.

Last season, Chipola-alum pitcher Krystal Goodman was ranked No. 1 and went on to pitch for the University of Alabama who ended up winning the SEC regular season and was the No. 8 seed in the NCAA Division I tournament. Goodman holds a 1.10 ERA with 59 strikeouts in 76.1 innings pitched. 


No. 2 ranked Molly Jacobsen finished off a stellar career at Des Moines Area went on to earn a starting spot for Ole Miss. Jacobsen currently holds a 1.97 ERA with 145.1 innings pitched leading the team with 142 strikeouts.

This season we celebrate the sophomore studs who will go on to make a huge impact at the next program.

Paige Reynolds, OF | Salt Lake (Southern Utah)


The speedster from Kaysville, Utah is next in the long line of D1 caliber players for the 6th-ranked Bruins. Hitting .455, Reynolds is tops on the team in stolen bases with 36, and a 1st team all-Region nod- Reynolds is a spark plug for a team rolling into Utah on a 26 game win streak.

Rylie Seip, OF | Santiago Canyon (Long Beach State) 


An incredible athlete from Cal Cruisers Sievers, Seip was named to the 2019 NFCA Cal JUCO All-American squad as well as 1st team All-CCCAA after hitting a .454 with 12 triples, 8 home runs, 38 RBIs and 28 stolen bases.

Tristin Evans, IF | College Southern Idaho


Evans is a returning 1st team NFCA/NJCAA All-American true lefty power hitting first baseman for the Golden Eagles. Recently named to the 2019 1st team All-Region 18 after hitting a .465 and smashing 17 home runs with 70 RBIs. Evans scored a region high 74 runs with 87 hits. She will be a tough player who will be a great addition at the next level.

Paige Hallam, IF | Howard (Long Beach State)


Former Empire League MVP from Cypress High in California, Hallam is a big-time sophomore leader for the 5-time WJCAC Conference Champs and Utah bound Hawks. A .416 hitter with 69 RBI, 20 doubles and 16 SB, the Long Beach State commit is one of a long line of excellent So Cal players for Howard and Coach Kelly Raines.

Amy Woodham, P/DP | Chipola (UAB)


Woodham does a bit of everything for the World Series-bound Indians. The Alabama native was 1st team all-Panhandle Conference and 1st team All-Region 8 at the at large position. She is 24-2 with a 1.63 ERA and is posting a .351 average with 5 home runs and 35 RBI heading into Utah.

Madison Gallagher, P/DP | San Jose City College


Named the C0-CCCAA Player of the Year and NFCA Cal JUCO all-American, Gallagher made an immediate impact at San Jose City. She leads the state in average (.580) and top five in RBIs (63), home runs (15) while sporting a 17-2 record on the mound. Gallagher helped San Jose reach the Elite 8 of the CCCAA State Championships.

Haley Womack, IF | Seminole State


The #1 team in NJCAA D1 softball is led by a number of players across the board but none more powerful than Womack. Her 16 homers and 59 RBI provide a punch for Trojan squad that is hitting a .405, scoring close to 10 runs a game and has a 46 game winning streak on their hands heading into Utah for the National Tournament.

Diamond Lewis, IF/P | El Camino


Returning Cal JUCO all-American and the 2018 South Player of the Year, Lewis didn’t disappoint again being named the Co-CCCAA State Player of the Year. She leads her team in almost every offensive category both in power numbers and speed. Described as one of the best raw athletes in the 2019 JUCO class we can’t wait to see what program snags her up for her final two years.

Tiffany Stezco, IF | Central Florida (McNeese State)

A prolific hitter and 1st team All-Conference and All-Region 8 performer for the 2019 Florida State Champion and 3rd ranked Patriots, Stezco is rewriting the record books in Ocala. Currently second in the country with 25 home runs, Stezco leads Central Florida in average (.418) and RBIs (56) with more games in Utah at the National Championships to help add on to her record-breaking season.

Emily McAdams, P | College of San Mateo (Oregon Tech)


The 3CFCA Cal North State Pitcher of the Year is currently leading the state with 30 wins and 10 shutouts for #1 ranked San Mateo. Newly named to the 2019 NFCA California JUCO All-America squad, Adams also is hitting a .386 with 21 stolen bases. The Bulldogs were the top seed from the north in Cal State Championships and had a 46 game win streak snapped in the final four. McAdams and her catcher will head to Oregon to finish their final two years together as teammates.
