A new theme that you will see this week is a day dedicated to NCAA softball teams. Over the years we covered the athletes, told their stories, and broadcasted their games. What better way to showcase these programs than to have a whole day dedicated to them. We will be dripping out exclusive videos and articles pertaining to that team all day long. By the end of the day, you'll know honestly know that program on a personal level. Tennessee, you're up.

OKLAHOMA CITY – 14 of the 2019 Top 50 “Watch List” athletes join 36 other student-athletes on the “Watch List” for the 2020 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award. Announced today by USA Softball, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States, the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award enters its 18th season and recognizes outstanding athletic achievement by Division I female collegiate softball players across the country.

Ralph and Karen Weekly didn’t start out with visions of becoming co-head coaches for a Division I softball program when they married in 1994. Karen, who received her law degree at the University of Washington, was working at a firm in Seattle. A month before their wedding, Ralph was offered the head softball coaching job at Tennessee-Chattanooga, so Karen left the law firm and the state she had called home her entire life.

One of the best preseason events is back. The Kajikawa Classic will be live-streamed on FloSoftball on Feb. 7-9 from the Tempe Sports Complex.
