Taylor McQuillin Journeys to Arizona

Taylor McQuillin, freshmen pitcher for the University of Arizona and Gatorade National Player of the Year in 2014. During her high school season at Mission Viejo, she had a record of 55-2 during her junior and senior seasons. As a senior, Taylor went 31-1 with a 0.21 ERA and 374 strikeouts setting a school record in consecutive victories (35) and career victories (103). With the Orange County Batbusters, they won back-to-back national championships giving up one combined run during PGFs in 2014 and 2015.
Taylor describes her move-in day and the challenges that come with adjusting to the student-athlete lifestyle as a freshmen. She reminisces on her club experience and the valuable lessons she learned from the many extraordinary coaches that have impacted her life. We also play a round of quickfire that includes celebrity crushes, music, and skydiving.
