    April 30, 2021, New York, NY - On a day when Athletes Unlimited announced major new additions to the roster of signed players for the 2021 season, it also announced today that it will conduct its first College Draft for qualifying NCAA Softball Players. The Draft will be streamed on Facebook on May 10th at 8 PM ET and feature the participation of some of the biggest names in sports as guest presenters including Miami Marlins General Manager Kim Ng and ESPN Broadcaster Jessica Mendoza. Athletes Unlimited also announced that it will host Open Tryouts June 25 – 26 for elite softball players to showcase their skills with the hopes of being invited to compete in Athletes Unlimited’s second softball season to be held at Parkway Bank Ballpark in Rosemont, IL, from August 29 – September 27.

    By Athletes Unlimited Two-time Olympic medalist and former University of Texas standout Cat Osterman became the inaugural Athletes Unlimited Softball Champion after earning 2,408 points over the five-week-long season competing against 56 of the world’s best players at Parkway Bank Sports Complex in Rosemont, Illinois. Jessie Warren (2,020), Victoria Hayward (1,860), and Erika Piancastelli (1,840) rounded out the top four, and Haylie McCleney was named GEICO Defensive Player of the Year.

USA Softball is proud to announce its 15-person roster and three replacement players that will compete next July in the 2020 Games in Tokyo, Japan where the U.S. will look to reclaim the Gold Medal.     OKLAHOMA CITY - USA Softball announced today the list of athletes invited to participate at the 2019 USA Softball Women’s National Team (WNT) Selection Trials to be held January 1-6, at the Eddie C. Moore Softball Complex in Clearwater, Fla. Those athletes who accepted the invitation to try out will vie for 18 spots on the 2019 USA Softball WNT Training Team roster that will compete at the USA Softball International Cup and select international events. The roster will then be trimmed to 15 athletes to participate in the Pan American Games, slated for July 31-August 11 in Lima, Peru.
