Having gone through several iterations over the years, they originally started out in 2012 as Texas Chaos coached by Mario Valdez and Terry Spencer. In 2016, they were one of the first teams to join the Hotshots organization and were known as Diamond Sports Hotshots South. In 2017, they joined Impact Gold as Impact Gold Spencer.

This team of coaches wanted to provide a program for players from the Northwest that would allow them to train and play on the national stage. Campos added, “The purpose of the team was to bring together the best athletes in the northwest, to develop their skills and prepare them to play on a national stage and be recruited by top programs.”
